Hi, I’m Karleen!

A woman with blue eyes, red lipstick, and brown wavy hair sitting in a field of tall grass and yellow flowers, smiling and touching her hair.

Senior photographer, professional hype girl, outfit enthusiast, and quite possibly the person who will be just as excited about your senior pictures as you are.

For more than 10 years, I’ve had the privilege of photographing high school seniors throughout Southeast Louisiana, and somewhere along the way I realized this is exactly where I’m meant to be.

There is something so special about senior year. You’re standing right in the middle of who you’ve always been and who you’re becoming, and I absolutely love getting to capture that.

My goal has never been to simply give you pretty pictures. I want to create an experience that makes you feel confident, celebrated, comfortable, and completely YOU.

From planning outfits and choosing locations to fixing the tiny details and hyping you up behind the camera, I’m there through all of it. You never have to know what to do with your hands, how to pose, or whether your outfit photographs well—that’s my job.

By the time your session is over, I want you leaving with sore cheeks from laughing, a camera roll full of behind-the-scenes memories, and the feeling that you absolutely KILLED it. Because you did.

Me - Senior Year - 2009

WHY SENIORS?

Because this season deserves to be remembered.

Senior year is full of lasts and firsts. Last football games. Last homecomings. College decisions. Big dreams. Growing independence. So much excitement about what comes next…and maybe a little bit of wondering how everything is changing so quickly.

I want your senior portraits to freeze this version of you.

Not an overly posed or perfectly polished version. The real you.

Your style. Your personality. Your confidence. Your laugh. The little things that make you different from every other senior I photograph.

Years from now, I want you to look back at these images and remember exactly what it felt like to be you at seventeen or eighteen with your whole future ahead of you.

That’s the magic of senior photography for me.

WHEN I’M NOT BEHIND THE CAMERA…

You can usually find me with my family, planning our next trip, hunting down a really good restaurant, spending time on the river, bingeing something on Netflix, or convincing myself that shopping absolutely counts as a hobby.

I’m a little Type A, very goal-driven, always up for an adventure, and happiest around good food, pretty things, somewhere new to explore, and people who make me laugh.

And yes—I will absolutely get excited about your outfits.

A FEW THINGS YOU SHOULD KNOW ABOUT ME:

I will probably call you girl, friend, or sis at some point during your session, and say CUTE about 10,000 times.

I will fix your hair, straighten your necklace, adjust your outfit, and tell you when something isn't working.

I will show you the back of my camera when I KNOW we just got the shot.

There will probably be music.

There will definitely be laughing.

And you will never hear me say, “Okay…just stand there and smile.”

Your senior experience should feel like you—and I can't wait to help you create it.
